7 Healthy Uses of Oats

All you need is to cook oat and let it cool before applying on the affected part. Give yourself some few minutes then rinse it off with water. Our storage containers and fridges are usually susceptible to awful smells depending on what you have stored. The bacteria act on food and fluids, giving off the odor. For that youthful skin, you can use oatmeal to achieve that. You only need to take some oatmeal and mix it with baking soda(sodium bicarbonate).Then add some little water to make a thick paste. Use the thick paste to apply on your skin and leave it that away for less than 15 minutes and then rinse it off with cool, clean water. It will leave your skin smooth.

For the skin that is well moisturized, you need to ensure that it has retained enough moisture. To achieve this, you need to have some warm water to which you add a cup of milk, 2 cups of oatmeal a table teaspoonful of honey which you then mix for about 10 minutes. Apply the mixture thoroughly on your skin and then wash it off. You will get a well moisturized skin that is also invigorated.

6. Great before -Work -out -Meal

For the workout freaks, here is one meal you need before hitting the floor. It has been found that taking oatmeal before exercise greatly improves the body endurance, which ideally means you are able to exercise longer. Not only that, you are able to burn fat at a faster rate due to increased energy for exercise. It is however advisable to take oatmeal at least 3 hours before you go out to for the work out.

7. Healthy Flour

Oatmeal is a healthy substitute for your conventional baking flour. You can ground your oats to obtain healthy oat flour which can be used to make pancakes as well as bake bread.
